Does anyone actually know what the door mirrors are off?, as mine needs a new one. And are they easy to get off to replace?

IIRC it's oft a VW Carado!

Are you after the whole part or just the glass?

BTW you might find it better if you remove the brackets from your name, it appears that the quote function doesn’t like them.

Its pretty easy, yes.

Glass just unclips, with 2 wires for the heated glass.

You should take them off the car though to avoid damaging anything. This is done by twisting the unit 90 degrees to get at the 2 allen bolts that hold them on. Then just wriggle the connector out of the hole to disconnect the wires.
