Tuscan vs. Porsche Turbo

Had a blistering day out yesterday in and around Bolton Abbey, Menwith Hill, Norton & Leathley areas near Harrogate. Plenty of other "up for it" drivers around and few plod to spoil the fun. Had a number of challengers for once. An F430 on the A59 straight - no problem, but then, going through the squigleys toward the Pool/Harrogate road, a new shape black 911 Turbo came up behind me. Now I know I need a Nitron upgrade, as I struggled to get away from this 4 wheel drive beast. Coming out of the bends I managed to get some distance between us, but then you could almost feel her reeling me back in. Her? (yes, it was a female - very attractive too). Anyone else had a similar experience? I was somewhat shocked because this was the very 1st time that any other car had truly 'pressed' me into taking it to the limits. Well done that girl! Great driving but my question is, could she have taken me at will?

20 grands worth of electronic aids makes anybody look like a great driver. You should have arranged to swap cars...and maybe a quick stop off at the Devonshire. Not sure if they do rooms by the hour though??
20 grands worth of electronic aids are wasted on any woman, most women are more than happy with 15 quids worth of electronic aid, if you know what I mean!
I was with a buddy once in a Supra chipped and running about 400bhp, a Porker Turbo was all over us and eventually when we moved out of the way he blistered past us which at the speeds we were doing makes that a bloody quick car....
I have had a few runs with my buddy (me in the T350 and him in his Supra) and there is nothing in it, I don't believe there is a big difference between the Tuscan and T350 interms of performance but could be wrong? anyhow I believe the 911 turbos are a pretty special car,,,,,,so in answer to your qs I believe the pretty lady could have taken you when she wanted....obviously just a personal opinion based on some previous run ins

Raced a friend off mine a few weeks back on his Ducati 750.
With a rolling start we were neck and neck not much in it, if the wheels had stayed a bit more I could have taken it.
From the lights a real mess no traction all over the place I was nearly at 90 degrees in second at one point must have been a crappy bit of road, quite embarrassing really.
A few bikes yesterday on the way to Herne Bay, I was behind them with a long stretch in front they moved over and I let off to about 15~+ They caught me up in no time and went past god know how fast.

Thought I would just add something to the Boxster comment- I have owned 2 TVR's up until very recently (Cerb and a T350)- both superb. Although I (used to) hate everything Porsche, I have just bought a Boxster S (for the girl...)to use everyday. I have to say I agree initially about it being souless. However, the more you drive it, the better it gets- the character is in the handling, not the drama/noise and the handling and balance on the short and twisties is way, way better than any TVR I have driven (quite a few by the way). Yes it doesn't have the noise, drama, passion, etc but on the right road you can have just (almost!) as much fun. I seriously recommend anyone to get a go in one and try it, you will be very impressed.
(Will be back in a TVR though once they sort themselves out. ;-))

Owned one myself before this Tuscan and your bang on the money.However they have all the soul engineered out of them and ultimately end up feeling a bit boring, this is more apparent if you have had a TVR before, but will probably be a lot less so if you have never owned something as raw and brutal.
Having given up motorcycles for health reason's[don't want to die]TVR's offer the closest
thing in their place.
