2000 Tuscan. For no apparent reason (but do these cars ever need a reason?) the passenger side door takes its sweet time to unlock. When the buttons pressed, the window does its thing, but then it takes a long 6 seconds or so before the door clicks open. What the heck is going on? Lost my main beam now as well. Just when you think the cars been behaving great recently, it bites and reminds you why it has the reputation it has.

my drivers door was doing the same along with some funny window issues. Took door card off removed and cleaned all the multi plug contacts that are full or water crap and grease, and it sorted the door out. Spend some time sealing the multi plugs with dampstart when you put them back together so they keep the wet out a little.

Or it might be your drivers door ecu needs resetting if that doesnt work. Just remove center tunner bit, two screws one under rear vent one under ashtray thing and you will see the door modules. shut yourself in the car and have windows up just remove the ecu then re plug it in. they can get confused sometimes.

hope this helps

Mines been doing this for nearly 2 years, I love it. It means I can get out of the car long before the better half! It also misbehaves when you close the door. Did have it fixed once, lasted about 4 hours before it started misbehaving again.
