my last request was for advice on where i could purchase an accelerator cable for my Tuscan.
I was advised that a mountain bike cable would just do the trick.
I wondered if there were any adaptations needed to the cable when fitting can anyone help?

i guess you need some motorbike barrel clamps as the bike cable will only have a welded barrel at one end.

but never done it so dont know...

I was the one who said use a M.T.B cable. When mine went on the Cerb.I used a M.T.B cable.Threaded it in from the bottom, then when it was at the top, pushed it in to the return lever and fitted a ferrel on the end and clamped the leaver over so the cable couldnt slip out.Its nylon coated and better made than O.E spec. And only cost less than £2
