France trip - Headlamp dip
Discussion
I am soon embarking on the first trip to France in the Tuscan, but need some advice on how to best alter the headlamps to avoid dazzling oncoming vehicles when driving on the 'wrong' side of the road.
Have purchased a set of adaptors from 'Halfrauds', but am a little unsure of the proper placement of the circular beam deflectors.
Any advice / pictures would be helpful.

and naffing Dim to boot.
Dimmer than a dimmer thing in Pie and Piston I reckon ...
I suggest you have a read of this thread.
Also, the beams on mine aren't flat, they have the same beam pattern as any other car.

And to change the pattern from RHD to LHD, there are three screws at the back of the light unit. Two are in a fixed place, one has an oval opening. When you unscrew the three screws, you can turn the unit a bit, which changes the dip pattern from --- to -/-/-
Main beams have a flat pattern, as is the case on most of the cars.

HID's the way to go?

I bought stick on things. They fell off -whether heat from headlamps or high wind speed (very windy that week
) I know not. No-one flashed, no-one cared. Spares and stiff to meet French rules is more important - they get fussy if you do get stopped, but you can always say your stick on bits must have fallen off

I have found that the kits you buy tend to fall off and so I started using black insulation tape.
If you park your car facing the garage door with headlights on you can see the beam pattern. Then simple try to block out the raised portion of the beam with the tape, trim with a knife and jobs done.
Never get flashed, stays on a long time, easy to remove and costs pennies.

It seems to me that it's not just your lights that are "Dimmer than a dimmer thing in Pie and Piston".
