bought my tuscan a couple of weeks ago from christopther neil tvr
year 2000X 26000 on the clock.

I asked about the problems with the engine that I have read about on here.
he told me that the engine was done under warrenty before they bought the car in and should I come to sell I can get the details from them or tvr?
he stated they would not have bought the car if the engine had not been done.
what part of the engine is he talking about and how can I check.
I have a full year warranty with them and the car runs spot on.

get it in writing from them where and when the rebuild was done. Ensure your warranty covers the engine for the next year and then just enjoy it!

Remember to warm it up carefully from cold by driving it...don't let it sit idling from cold start.

My first rebuild was an early bath (2002) and there was no paperwork with that. The dealer confirmed it as did the previous owner. I do however have the paperwork for the second. Not sure if this helps, but I did look at few early ones and none of them really had anything to show. Call around a bit to check
