got a new switch as the old one had the usual water ingress as expected, not sure the best way to tackle the job?? any advice appreciated.

Door card off - 4mm allen screws at bottom, much easier with ball-ended allen socket.

Once card off, take interior handle off to get at switch, think screws are covered with sealer.

Thanks, so you dont need to take off the window seal at the top.

Nope, the ally coloured bar + brush at the top remain part of the door.

Door card slots up underneath that bar

Hi mate, got it off ebay!!! funny old thing, won it for £4.20p mate, might not work yet but had to be worth a try.

Right mate, what a ballache to get the door off without a ballend allen key!!! switch works though, fiver well spent i think, i used some clear sealant to fit the switch back in so hopefully it may keep the water out for a bit!! didn't realise how loud the mirrors were.laugh
