How do I replace the throttle cable on my Tuscan year 2000?

This morning my throttle pedal stopped returning to it's closed position. I have taken the metal plate out and discovered the "nipple" and a few strands of wire loose on the floor. The cable is frayed so it looks like general wear and tear.

However, having got that far in the awkward footwell, I now don't know how to replace the cable or how difficult it is.

Please could someone give me a step by step list of what to do, what parts I need and where from (don't assume I know the names of all the parts you suggest I need to remove either ;-)) ?

It's a year 2000 Tuscan.

Wuld not know how to do it, but there is a mod to fix this problem from happeing again, ensure when you replace it you get the modified version.

You need a new throttle cable. If you're still on your original cable you will need the new mounting bracket (and bolt?) at the pedal end which is supposed to help the fraying. To replace the cable you'll need to take the bonnet and airbox off to get access to the other end, and of course you'll need to attach a bit of string to the old cable when you pull it though so you can pull the new cable through.

All this is from memory I'm afraid. I think the details were posted on this forum - but the search now only goes back two years for some reason.
