Just had the AC on my Tuscan re-gassed as it hasn't been done for the entire life of the car.

The AC worked before but never blew very cold. The technician hooked the machine up to it and pulled out 200g of R134 refrigerant. He looked in his books and said it should have 750g!

He said that that sort of wastage over 5 years was not excessive. A leak test was performed and all was given the green light.

In went 750g of R134. The AC was tested and it was blowing air at 4.7 degC on full cold. Driving home I had it on full blast and it actually gave me a headache it was so cold in there! Roll on summer and not having to swealter in the car! 60 quid well spent!
