Dash display

Anyone have experience of rectifying lines across dash display ?
Is this something thats fixable at home, or does it mean yet more expense at a main Tiv garage ?
Advice would be greatly appreciated.

Hi Simon,

I am planning to be at home during the day on Saturday doing some work in the garden. If you PM me I'll let you know my phone number and then you can call me if you hit any problems or have any questions. Mine went in pretty easily, but there were a couple of little hiccups, that in hindsight I could've made the job much easier by avoiding.

I'd offer to come and give you a hand, but it's my 1st anniversary weekend, and I'm not sure I'd get away with it
