New suspension setup - Berks, Bucks or Surrey
Discussion
My 2003 Tuscan has just hit 30,000 miles on the original dampers, and is starting to feel a bit wobbly, especially when there's weight in the boot. This sounds like a fine excuse to upgrade to Nitrons or similar, especially as I'm heading off for 2,000 miles around Europe in September.
Does anyone have a recommendation for suspension diagnosis, fitting and alignment in the South - I'm in Windsor, so Berks, Bucks or Surrey would be ideal. I normally use Fernhurst for servicing, but I'd like someone with a good reputation specifically for chassis set up.
Any positive recommendations and/or rough indications of price paid for the work would be most appreciated.
Cheers,
Pete

Check out www.aurok.com, they are Ohlins official importers into the UK and set up my Tuscan 2s just so. Dave knows what he is doing and they are in your neck o' the woods
I've recently fitted Gaz nickels on my tuscan (same age but less miles) and v pleased with the result. I did a DIY fit setting them at a recomended damping and height lowering the car v slightly. The car is much more stable and nicer to drive at speed on b roads etc, just wish i hadnt waited 2 years to buy them. Took me about 3 hrs to fit but any garage would probably do it in half that time. They came from absolutely shocks, complete unit (damper and spring) £540/set.
Regards Dave.
ps, no ihavnt got shares in the company
PPS Doesnt your service include geometry/alignment etc?

Thanks for the advice chaps. The Aurok Ohlins setup would be lovely, but I don't think it would be worth double the price of Nitrons for the sort of use the car gets. I'll have a chat to Racing Green and Absolutely Shocks, as well as Top Cats who I've heard good things about.
Cheers,
Pete
