Changing Engine Oil
Discussion
I decided as the car was serviced around 9 months ago and is about to head off on a 'brisk' drive through Germany, that I would treat it to an oil change.
Warmed the engine up yesterday and drained the oil by removing the plug from the base of the oil tank. However just under 4 litres of oil drained out. The oil level was between 1/3 and 1/2 full before I drained it so where has the other couple of litres of oil gone? I am guessing a little is in the filter which I did not plan to change, but that would not account for the difference. Is there another drain plug - possibly somewhere under what would normally serve the function of a sump - which I need to remove to drain the remaining oil?
Any advice gratefully received.

there is a plug on the side of the engine, unscrew and most of the oil will come out,i think you need a special sucking tool to get the last bit,i did not have one so i refilled with clean oil ran the car a few miles and changed it again(just to be sure it was clean)retighten carefully as the ally threads wont take any abuse.
