Try www.hagertyinsurance.co.uk

They were a bit cheaper than Aplan for me.

Try admiral, I know they a re a "mainstream" insurer but they have consistently come up trumps for me over the last 3 years, £700ish to insure my tusan fully comp, 29, 3yrs no claims, no points, parked on the road in not a great area.

I had quotes of 1800 from most other insurers including Aplan, adrian flux and the other recommended TVR insurers,

give em a go,

So long as you don`t need commuting included, then you won`t beat Hagerty.

£510 with Bell Direct. 27 years old, 7 years no claims, no points. Social use only, low mileage.

Just to mention, by adding a female driver in her 30's as a named driver I knocked about £150 off.

I would recommend A Manning. £715. Includes track day cover and is agreed value.

Bell were cheapest for me too, by a long way. I've got lots of years no claims but couldn't use them cos no-one would insure my daily driver without no claims either!

Cheers,

Tom.

Problem with the Admiral Group companies (Bell, Elephant + Admiral) is they are not very good when claiming and ramp up the premium when you get any points or the car's anything but standard.

Just swapped from Admiral £500 last year (10yrs no claims + GF 28) to A plan. Premium now around the £450 mark (3000mile limit) plus GF has 3 points from drivin the TIV too fast - naughty girl!

May have got a cheaper premium if car garaged but the car stands outside as no room in the garage.
