ECU Failure...

Does anyone know where I can get my ECU checked in the Bucks area??? I think there's something very odd going on! No matter what I do I can't seem to get either the fans working or the alternator charge light to go out. Yet when I bridge them out at the ECU socket the fans work fine. I thought the ECU's were generally quite reliable???

Could either of these symptoms be something else?
