Help: I am the proud new owner of a Tuscan - my 1st TVR after years of wanting.

I need to replace the lcd display, the previous owner bought a new module but never fitted it - obviously I want to.

Can anyone advise how I get at the old one to do so?

Please......................................

Hi Jan,

Try this website. It's even got photo of how to take the LCD apart.

Hope it helps.

In return can you check if the ground clearance of your tuscan is high enough to clear a can of coke. please see my posting on this forum for more details.

Many, many thanks to all those posting. I shall probably have 'a go' later today and let you know how I get on.

Well - took just the hour and not as difficult as it looked thanks to the above.

Only problem now is it shows EFI fault. Looking on here + the fact the rain is pouring down, I think I will wait before panicking!!!

Crikey, now I am confused.

I seem to have the same problem as many others - some of the LCD display is missing altogether, but I do have several unwanted horizontal lines also.

Simple question is - do I need to replace a card,as this thread implies, or the screen, as TVR Power suggest ?

Anybody got any clear views on this? ?

The card and the screen are attached to each other and you change them together. (the screen piggybacks on the card)
See this thread, its very useful,

Good luck!.......smile
