Washer bottle/pump whats it off?

I have done a quick search and the pump/bottle seems to be off a MK1 VW Golf, is this right? Mine has died and they are £30 on clevor trevor so just trying to save money and get a new pump motor or whole bottle pump thing from scrap yard.

halfords do a range of universqal washer pumps so might be worth taking the old one down and seeing it they have one.

Was thinking that too, just trying to do it on the cheap. Will scout some breakers on my way home too. Anything really that fits. Cannot believe how badly fixed in it is, just the neck filler holding it in wing, no other mounts. Well no actually I can believe its like that after looking at the wiring in there too!

Mine has a bracket that it slides into, the halfords pumps are only about £10 so drive sedate for a day and you'll save that easy

The pumps in halfords dont fit the bottle, so im going to have to find an new bottle and pump somehwere that is not too big to fit..
