White indicator lenses

Anyone know where I can get the white indicator lenses to replace the orange ones on my MK1 Tuscan?

Any pointers gratefully received.

No prob, happy to help. I had to change one of the bulbs in my indicator recently - bit of a pain to do, double-jointed wrists helps....good luck with swapping yours out!

I have been looking to do this as well. They look a lot better than the orange version.

I replaced my rear orange indicators lens by using reversing lights, which I got from a scrap dealer, and put in orange lamps. I also changed the rear red fog light to a white lens with a red lamp. Works well and IMHO looks better and it passed an MOT - no problems.

Thanks Kevin, looks very good. I am planning on doing the fronts first but must lay low from the misses a little while.
I keep blowing my backup money on new alloys etc.

I have been looking at doing the same as you in replacing the fog light lens for a clear one (reverse lens). Can you tell me how you got the old fog light lens out, are they glued in place or do they unscrew as i have noticed a thread on the fitting?
don't want to start pulling things about and breaking anything!

If you go on the chimera site and ask the boys on there, there is a company that do them for about £30.00

The actual units are glued, probably with some hard resin, to the tubes which are moulded to the body work. The screw part is the actual lamp holder. Mine were very tight and like you I didn't fancy breaking anything so I took it to a garage to be fitted. Evidently it took them quite a time to get the old ones out they had to heat the body work to try and free them.

I did the indicators and the rear fog light in white with coloured lamps. I think it was worth it and am happy with the result.

Have had another look today and think i will get it done when it goes in for it's 12k service in a month or two!
The back of yours looks so much better with the white lenses, I've never liked the look of the back lights on the 's', but yours looks great!
