Going for my First TVR. Help!

I am looking for my first TVR and have pretty much decided on the Tuscan,
Poss 2001 model. This probably isnt the best idea for a first TVR but hey I want one. Its just one of those things (love at first sight) you have to have.
I have booked myself on a full driving course mid October to keep it one the road.
I have no idea what i am looking for, i have downloaded a Tuscan Check list but its about 20 pages long. I would be very greatful for any advise on things to look for.
I am that bad i havent even Sat in one yet. (If anyone can help with this i am in the Nuneaton area but will travel)

Get down to a dealer, quick! Trust me, once you drive one though you won't be able to sleep until you have it on your driveway!
There's loads of things to look for, all covered by the posts in this forum. Any questions I had I found had already been answered somewhere. It's probably best just to read through them all from start to finish and go into ownership with eyes open. Test drive a few, see how they feel.
Be prepared that running costs may be quite high depending on the individual car. Some are fine, some have problems. Personally I reckon there's more good ones out there than what people think but we only ever usually hear when something goes wrong! If you can find one with a recent engine rebuild that'd be good if buying privately, or make sure you get a warranty that'll cover it if buying from a dealer.
The buying checklist is good to look through, it'll give you an idea of things to check out on the car. Not everything is vital and some things cosmetic but if you can tick most of the boxes then you've found yourself a decent car.

i bought mine blind ,i just wanted one so badly,so be careful ....look out for recent engine rebuild,recent clutch,
suspension upgrade and geo set up are a real bonus,service history,if you want a closer look come to the middlands tvrcc meet-bulls head meriden,third sunday of the month(best to check the website it might be second sunday !) i will be there,probarbly other tuscans aswell,im sure someone will take you for a spin round the block
