Tuscan Servicing by mileage or time?
Discussion
Hi guys,
Got a couple of Tuscans to look at this week, I was wondering as when I had my 996 Turbo the servicing schedhule was either 12k miles or a year whatever came around sooner, is a TVR the same or is it purely on mileage. i'm looking at a couple of sub 10k mileage cars which have had 2 services, is this right?
Cheers

TVR's are 12 months or 6K miles which ever comes first.
A lot of mega low mileage cars have been dry stored and have hardly been used. The chances of these cars getting serviced annually is pretty slim. If a car has done 10 miles in a year and is only likely to do another 10 miles the following year, in practice it is hardly worth getting serviced annually. If a car is doing less than 1,000 miles per year, you would expect it to get serviced every 2 or 3 years.
Obviously if a car was doing 12,000 miles per year then you would expect it to be serviced twice a year.
