Took one for a test drive
Discussion
Took a 2003 Tuscan for a test drive on Saturday....WOW....my mind is now made up and iam definatly getting one!!
In what seems typical TVR fasion while I was test driving it kept flashing up Diagnostic Code ''L''
I have tryed searching the Internet for the meaning but cant seem to find one anywhere.... anyone got any ideas??

Code L is "Erratic road speed sensor input". Almost all mk1s pop this up when you're doing a lot of low speed manoeuvring, but if it comes up a lot in normal driving the car might need a new speed sensor fitting to the diff. The part is cheap, but it's an hour or so's labour to fit and get the gap set correctly.
This is also the most common cause of a wildly bouncing or erratic speedometer reading, as long as the needle and digital displays show the same crazy behaviour. Speed sensors are practically consumables on Tuscans.
In other words, it's not serious, and They All Do That, Sir.
