Got a bit carried away with the polishing today and managed to push my n/s dip beam light inside the car! frown How are they fixed in place? Are they glued? If so, what type of glue should I be using?

Final Q, how do I correctly set the beam? smile

Thanks folks.

did the same with my indicator. seated it on a bead of silicon, and it sticks it in place

thanks Custard.

Don/t suppose anyone knows what the beam adjustment setting is?

Fimbo,

I needed to set my lights as well and posted on here a few days ago. I also found the MOT setting diagram and pasted it, see this topic for more (pikky is near the bottom). HTH

Thanks for the info. I sourced some Sikaflex 252 silicone bonding adhesive/sealant for the light - it's great but messy stuff - makes bonding uneven surfaces very easy and its consistency means that it creates an adhesive bond quite quickly. Just don't get it on your clothes or the paint work! (Great also for the black beading that runs round the window edges)
