Engine Mounts

I've already had three new ones this year and it now looks as if another has gone. Is there a particular issue with these items or is it a symptom of something else?

I bet they were on the passenger side, the thing is that they are so close to the exhaust manifolds that the heat deteriorates the composition of the rubber and it drops and neads changing, it seems all Speed sixes are prone to this, i've had three in 47,000 miles.

Engine mounts Done 20k and gone through x 5 on exhaust manifold side x1 other side .Some owners don't even notice they have gone, but the usual rattle of manifold hitting under tray is the first sign.
Going abroad and track days kill them .
Dreadnought TVR are developing new version soon.I hope

I thought I heard a muttering about an upgraded version from somewhere recently, long overdue!

I am thinking of making a shield for mine to stop some of the heat.
