I've got a couple of niggles I need help with:
Both doors if not opened for a few days seem to struggle when opening, its the mechanism which releases the door - it almost sounds 'sticky', i have to press the button a few times before it releases, whats best for lubricating that part; and;
the passenger door edge is touching the paint work on the inside of the door, so when the door is closed the back edge is damaging the paint on the body, although you cant see it with the door closed it is still annoying, i am presuming the door is hanging a mm or two too low, is that an easy fix??
Thanks All

Most Tuscan mk1 I have seen have this problem, I have put a felt sticky pad on the under side of the door to cushion and protect the paint work. it does seem to work. Unfortunately, the paint work had been sligtly damaged when the first owner had it but doesn't look bad after a quick touch up. Don't know of a permanent fix sorry.
My passenger door makes marks on the door sill, seems to 'bounce' when driving,so I put tape under the door and 3m tape on the door base near the kick plate. I also have same problem with doors taking 3/4 presses to open, always seems to be if the cars not been used for a day or two...I'm at Surface & Design tomorrow, so I'll ask Gerbil and the other TVR gurus if they have any fix.
The factory used to use metal shims in the door hinges when hanging the door, I know that because when mine was new, they were left un-painted at first.
