Hi Everyone,

My first newbie post!

What is your car of choice - Early 2003 Mk1 4.0 or early 2005 MK2 3.6?

I must admit, I actually prefer the look of the MK1 (inside and out). Is performance, handling, fit/finish and reliability really much different between the two?

Your opinions welcome!

Cheers!

Jerbro - welcome. You should also add in a 3.6 Mk1 as an option therefore if you are looking at 2003 models.

Indeed - my Tuscan of choice is a late 2003 mk1 3.6. Buy on condition versus budget, not necessarily on what engine size you think you'll prefer.

My 3.6 feels quicker than some 4.0s I drove, likewise some 4.0s felt like they had more torque than my 3.6. There's so much variation that every car will feel different. You'll know when you find the right one for you!
