Both myself and the AA mechanic have been unable to find it.
The book tells you nothing either.
Thanks

take off the nearside front wheel (or turn it onto hard left lock) and you'll see (just about) a black plastic panel going from the tubular frame up to about the height (and a bit) of a battery, with 2 screws holding it in place. It might also be tie wrapped aroung the tubular frame. Take out the 2 screws and the battery is in behind.

That is possibly the cleanest car I have ever seen.
Mines looks like I have been rallying through Kielder Forrest!
Pics handy though. Garage is swapping it as we speak.
Cheers.

I was thinking the same thing, the under side of my car looks like a used Tractor!

I changed mines last week and what a pig it is as I changed it with the car still in the garage. Trying to wiggle a trolley jack underneath and then finding the only position I can get the jack in, means the handle hits the pipe containing the electric supply into the garage.
I also need to get some spray carpet adhesive as I was under the impression that the battery was behind the passenger footwell inside the car.
Anyway after all the cursing, scraped knuckles, oily fingernails and aching bones as soon as it fired up that stupid grin appears on my face once again, "my wifes statement" not mine.

Regards,

James Sim.
