12,000 mile service
Discussion
Hello,
Im just planning my "car budget" for next year, working out how much I need to squirrel away for insurance, tax, driving holiday, tyres, servicing etc..
Got it all pretty much sorted, but I have no clue how much a 12k service will set me back.
It will be due some time in the spring and I will probably be having it done at TVR Power.
Not withstanding any unforseen "extras" does anyone know a ball-park figure for a 12k Tuscan service?
Thanks
Dave

You could check TorqueRVT's website.
They do a 12K for about 375 inc tappets.
Bit out the way for you though

How on earth do they do it so cheaply? the parts alone are a couple of hundred quid surely? (oil, plugs, filters etc)
I have recently had some engine work done by Ian at Torque RVT. Recommend him extremely highly.....I think his costs are kept low as he does not have a swanky showroom...Only a proper mechanics garage! Had a problem with a wandering idle (900rpm to 1700rpm) and after an all-night problem solving session, managed to find the fault in the fuel pressure hose...Left Torque RVT at 0615hrs! Ian is an awesome guy who indulged my interest and let me get my hands dirty too....
If you are in the area, then you can have your shock absorbers changed by Derek at Absolutely Shocks. Got my stock Romanian built Bilsteins changed to Gaz Golds. Tuscan S can now handle bumps without giving me a nose bleed!
Also had full geometry set up and the change (for the better) is obvious...
Had to mention both Ian and Derek as good/honest people are hard to find!
