tuscan insurance!!!!!!!!!!!

hi all its painterman here im 29 and looking for insurance for a tuscan can any one give any insurance details i have phoned lots and they want £1500 +
im only going to have it out in the sun and that seems alot of money for that
i have the sprint mag and have call lots from there!!!!!!

Try Tesco and Direct Line, on line...seem to be giving good quotes for first year to get your business, then they jack the premium up the following year!

I could get nothing under £1100 then Hagerty gave me a quote of £350 and I nearly fell over.

You must have another car as your daily drive but for the saving I could nearly buy one!

Some other good stuff as well such as agreed car value, decent track insurance and a thing that will pay for taxi's if you lose your licence!!

BTW I'm 28 with 6yrs NCB (which they don't use so you can keep them for your daily drive) and two accidents in the last 5 yrs - one fault one still being disputed.

I'm only 28 (0 points and no accidents ever) Mine's £460 with Tesco. I do live in a very low risk area and it's garaged with 5k miles limit..........another trick to try if you do it on line is to add a second driver who's had no claims/points (I add my girl friend woh's 27 but she'll never drive it!!!) you could add a parent etc and this brought mine down about £50.........though I've no idea why????? Give it a go on-line and see if it changes the price.

Agre with Bonedoc, A-plan were very good. I'm 29 and leave the beast (and my last one) parked on the street in central London. A plan came in vastly under my old Norwich Union cover.

I'm with direct line. Got my Tuscan piggy-backed onto the insurance for my Audi A4 with only an additional £35 premium (named driver only). Can't remember the exact figures, it was around £400 I believe. I can get the exact details if of interest.

I used moneysupermarket.com very helpful in giving tips to keep cost down....
I ended up with the RAC + breakdown cover for £850 (29yrs/10000 miles a year)

I'm with A-Plan, have 2x30 points and have just turned 30. Last year's price was around the 450-ish mark and I have a Bradford postcode - it was less than half the price of the Privilege renewal price who I used to be with.

Hi painterman.

Am new to the thread but own a 2000 Tuscan. I am 29 years old and pay just over £700 fully comp for my Tuscan through Elephant. it has a tracker and is garaged. 10 years no claims as well and a clean license( no idea how long that will last)
