How many Tuscans made?

Hi all,

I was hoping that someone could help with this, I'm trying to get an idea of how many Tuscan's Mk1's and Mk2's were made. Has anyone got an ideas on this?

I asume that is combined? and would that also be including any that were sold overseas?

Id say more like 1500 max, I'm sure someone will know better! Thats over years 2000 - 2006.

I'd agree with Whitey...According to Steve Heaths book they only made 100 Griffs in 2000 and 2001, so can't see there being more Tuscans Mk 1s.
So 100 a year for what 5 years= 500 (Mk 1s)
We know for a fact 105 Tuscan Mk2 Verts in 12months
So 3 times for Targas over 2 years= 300
So your pushing it even to make the 1000

Sounds good to me, I thought I had read a figure of around 2000-2500 which seemed an optimistic amount. Thanks all for your help.

well there was a load of pre orders for Tuscans from 98 on, and I reckon they spat out a load in 2000 and 2001 and early 2002 but by then of course, the dreaded Speed 6 issues were in the public domain and things went downhill....

There were about 1800 pre-orders prior to start of production in 2000.During a factory visit in April 2000 there was a lot in build, although after six months or so this seemed to tail off, and a lot of the pre-orders never progressed to a build slot. Would also guess at around 1500 in total between 2000 & 2006.
