splitter brace attachment
Discussion
as per the title really.
my tuscan, although not an 's' had a splitter attached on the front. it broke away & i'm now having a new one made up in carbon fibre.
i ordered the splitter brace to prevent a reoccurence but my carbon manufacturing guys cant see how it attaches.
the bar itself is just a bar with lugs on each end with a slot in the middle of the main bar. does thatb sound like the right part?
has anyone fitted one? where do you attach it?
any help would be much appreciated.

Yes thats the item, It attaches to either side of the pepperpot grill sides and with the center lug pointing towards the ground, the splitter being screwed up through the bottom of the pepperpot grill into the center drop piece of the t-bar. I think there are screw holes on the chassis rails or maybe where the grille mounts for the ends of the bar.
Sorry this is from memory when i thought about doing it myself.

The "T-bar" mounts onto the two front bolts that hold the engine cover on.
You then have a threaded rod that screws into the T and down through the underside of the grill panel and through the splitter. You need to put as big a washer as you can find to mount the splitter. You also need at least 4-5 bolts along the rear edge of the splitter.
