Nitron settings - road and track

What settings are people running with when using adjustable nitrons. For road use, I've opted for 8 up front and 5 at the back but the car still seems to shudder when on any kind of dodgy surface. I was thinking of going to 4 up front and 0 at the back but am worried this will make the car sloppy. Any good advice/experience out there?

I have just had Nitrons fitted and they set it up with 10 up front and 8 at the back for road use. It feels planted but not too hard a ride. I need to do a few more miles to bed them in to make sure this is the best set up for me.
