Setting up the carb "pots"

car runs great after a service

TVR dealer tell me it's the set up of the potentiometers on the carbs

trouble is it doesn't last to long,done 3k miles without a breakdown now and it could do with an adjustment.

it this adjustment a DIY job, if so how is it done

Carbs? Are you sure it's a Tuscan?

Probably referring to the throttle pots. The car has an adaptive map, over time this can creep away from optimal settings, especially if you service the engine. The adaptive map should then be re-set.

Balancing of the throttle bodies can be done by DIY but is best done only if you are reasonably handy with cars, I do my own and make sure I have plenty of time available, then the addaptives and throttle pots need to be reset via the laptop.
