TVR installed DAB and auto changer

Hi all

Does anyone have any experience with the wiring of the original TVR installed DAB radio and CD Auto-changer?

The auto-changer hasn't worked for a while due to a wiring problem when the previous owner installed a new (still Panasonic) head unit.
But while having to reattach the boot to solenoid bowden cable yesterday I found a DAB receiver in the other half of the boot recess (off side of boot lock between the inner and outer boot skins).

Does anyone have any idea how this is wired into the audio system and if you need a particular head unit?

if its a blue terminal then it plugs into the rear of the radio unit in the car to operate a disc stacker unit in the boot

I think the standard kit is Pioneer not Panasonic so that may be why it's not connected.

The head unit is a Pioneer head unit. Felt a pratt when I got back in the car as saw the name on the unit.

I have a general idea about the CD changer having played with them before, just not sure how the DAB receiver connects and whether you need a specific head unit to take advantage of it?

Does the head unit have thr cd changer plug socket on the back of it? Some don't, I have 2 pioneer head units, both look the same and you can evn swap the face plates and they still work but the tuscan one has the changer control, the other one doesn't.

if you have the socket locate the lead and plug it in. then you'll need to check if the dab and changer have power to them.

Just an update (might be useful to someone) and question.

Spent yesterday pulling up carpet and tracing cables, here’s what I found:

The DAB receiver with its aerial sits behind a panel (you need to pull the carpet away) in the boot between the inner and outer skins just on the offside of the boot lock.

The multiway cable ('blue connector' even though its black) from the CD changer plugs into the DAB receiver.
Another multiway goes from the DAB receiver to the head unit via the off side sill and the driver's foot well, up behind the steering column and into the scuttle.
Power is provided by the small wire attached to the multiway and powers both the units in the boot in parallel, the earths are wired to the rear lights. There is an inline fuse in the boot for the CD changer and another in the scuttle, which would affect both units.

Having removed the scuttle I found the head unit end of the power cable flapping in the breeze, but have no idea where to connect it to, there is no obvious 'other end' also just flapping around.
So going to pop along to Sextons over the weekend, now I know the problem they shouldn't take to long to fix it.

My scuttle (the leather bit with the windscreen air vents in it) came out really easily as one of the bolts was missing. Anyone know the easiest way to gain access to screw the thing back in place properly?
