My tuscan built 2000,gold coulour, rebuilt from Henleys in 2006, comes from Reading.
Its a 4.0 and has at 6000-6200 rpm bad acceleration, it is not a misfiring, is is like a spark is broken or when fuel pressure is low, at 6400 all is o.k. again.
When engine gets hotter it is a little bit better
with this fault, but always noticable!

I have done already:
New plugs + cables
new lead
new sparks
batterie o.k.
nothing wet!
throttle pod bushings new in 2006!
Compression tested all between 12-13.5
all sparks good colour

I have heard something about throttle pods upgrade
chip!
What will done with this upgrade?

Any help appreciated
Maybe someone knows this car from the past

Sorry for my bad english but came from Germany

Kind regards

Uwe

Telephone TVR Power, there is a de-throttle chip available, but more importantly if you speak with them they will help diagnose the fault.

You'll be needing one of these...

I had exactly the same symptoms as you describe, and the above cured the problem for me.

I had a very similar problem, Car went to TVR Power for a 12k service and sure enough problem is gone..

The main issue I had with lumpy running, balancing the thottle bodies and an ECU upgrade cured this IIRC.
