More pops and bangs than normal...is everything OK?
Discussion
Had my (very reasonably priced) APM 12k service about a month ago - no probs found.
I have put about 1000 miles on it since then and its driving very well but the exhaust seems to be popping and banging more than it used to. Upon inspection I can see where fuel has been burning around the end of the cans.
I have CCC's and still have my cats in (I think!! gets 105 db so must still be in).
Do I need to worry? I was considering a custon remap at TVR Power - would this solve the 'problem'?

Check out the air temperature sensor. It may be bad or they garage may not have reconnected it.
How do I do that? The fans are coming on as normal etc - any other things to look for?
I've had my new baby for about a month and up to now I thought the cacophany of pops and bangs coming from the CCC's was all part of the TVR 'experience'.
Should I now be concerned that this is not normal? I thought it was probably a combination of the cans and fuel mapping specifically to make this noise on overrun?
I have to say I think it sounds great and have mastered excessive 'on request' pops and bangs

You could find its where the maps have been reset, I noticed the other day when I cleared mine it started popping much lower in the rev range.
Has it been doing it since it was serviced? may be worth giving Andy a call and asking him what he thinks, I found him very helpful and friendly when he did my service.
