trading the tuscan for a cerb
Discussion
Even thougn i like the looks of the tuscan i feel its not as fast or focused as a cerbera, so im debating trading it for the tvr daddy, the only thing that holds me back is the overstated tuscan looks,
so the question is do i go for looks or performance?

The only real difference is the in-gear times, due to the fact the V8 has more torque lower down the rev-range. You just need to be a gear lower...
IMHO the Tuscan has it hands down on looks and the fact the roof comes off, the Cerb on 4-seater practicality. There's nowt between them in out-and-out speed (accepting the above) and it seems a Cerb will cost you more to run.
Swings and roundabouts really - they're both great cars
The only person who can truly say which is 'best' is you!
Whatever your choice, enjoy it before the Government makes these sort of cars illegal

I'd have the Tuscan, I was debating the two before i chose the Tuscan, and I think the added benefit of the top coming off is perfect for that summer weather, burnt forehead and all that.
lets be honest you say the cerbera being a 2+2 but come on! is it really, may be for some cabbage patch kids or something but surely not for humans.
But hey personal preference!!!

Erm, can i just say that this post is a result of my mate hijacking my PH name and password.
I love my Tusc, more than ever at the moment. It's easily as quick as his Cerbie, and quite obviously more aesthetically pleasing.
Women aren't scared of it unlike it's older obese brother.
Anyone who feels like giving my friend some grief should find him at-

I suggest that you all send him an e-mail cutting and copying the following text-
You sir are a big gay Greek and chose the wrong TVR
Tuscans rule OK

i was torn between & cerb & a tuscan, but i'm so pleased i chose a tuscan.
i was erring towards a cerb because it would be a different experience to what i already own, but i opted for a tuscan & i'm so glad i did.
i swear it gets more of a reaction on the street than my spyder does.
probably because people think, lambo = more money than sense, flash f*ck etc etc, but tuscans are rarer & people who know their cars appreciate the leap of faith you've had to take to buy 1 in the 1st place!!
once when my brother & i took them to the garage to fill them up, a bloke said "do you mind if i take a picture of your car?", i told him to help himself & he walked straight past the lambo & started taking pictures of the tuscan...
