Its here at last! My mango Tuscan

picked up the new (to me) Tuscan

crap roads, rain grin 3 feet wide

spent the afternoon fixing niggly faults

speedo not working and door mirrors - eventually twigged they are on the same fuse! after carefully cleaning the speed sensor of course.
passenger door not opening - about to go down the route of replacing the supplied with car door ecu's and hey presto managed to fix it (still not sure exactly how)

crawled all over and under it!

got a fault code E - but the fuel gauge works so???

I have fault code C displayed, but as long as the buzzer stops when you start the car and the things they indicate work, I would ignore them unless they pop up whilst driving. You could try re-setting the pod to see if that clears them -its in the owners manual.

I have really enjoyed my first month of ownership, but got pulled yesterday morning by the police for speeding. Being an ex motorcyclist I saw them early and threw out the anchors(which they mentioned). They gave me a verbal warning and a breath test (zero naturally), kicked the tyres and asked me if it was reliable! Cheeky Buggers! Felt like asking them if they often fell asleep at the wheel of the Volvo, but disgression is the better part of valour!

Enjoy your new car but keep your eyes peeled and check those mirrors often!

Word of warning though, the front is longer than you can see so be careful when parking it's very easy to knock when trying to park tight.

it might just be me, but you seem to have a big gap between the top of the tyres and the body. is the ride hight correct?

hmm they be 18's and it does seem a bit twitchy over bumps

this is a dumb question now...how do i alter ride height? do I "simply" screw my shocks in/up as it were

and estimated cost for a geometry set up?
i work near to TVR Power so...

has got what appear to be Eibachs on the rear (white spring ??) and ?? blue springs on the front but i'll go and have a poke

oh and colour wise its supposedly one of a kind
