Tuscan doesn't fit!

I am going to treat myself to a fun car and having done much research settled on a shortlist, the top of which is a Tuscan because it looks like a "Hot Wheels" car and of course has phenomenal performance. As James Hammond says on Top Gear, it should make feel like I'm 10 years old.
So off I trotted today to my local TVR dealer to try one on for size. Shock horror! It doesn't fit. If the seat is at the right angle my (non bouffant) hair brushes against the roof. If the seat is laid back a little I end up leaning forwards to compensate. In both cases my view forwards is restricted by the top of the windscreen.
I am 5 foot 10 and relatively long in the body and short of leg (though my trews are standard rather than short leg, so I'm not THAT strange a shape). I sat in a Chimaera which was fine, comfy position and a view out which included sky as well as stuff I need to see.
Is there anything I could do to make it fit? Are there spacers below the seat I could take out for instance? Is the Tuscan really so limited in adjustments? The only other car I've tried that I couldn't fit in was a Vauxhall Tigra, which is titchy.

A strange problem you have there, Sir! I'm 6'1" and fit without any problems, with enough space for my head not to hit the roof!
I have my seat on a slight incline and moved forwards a couple of notches. The view is quite restricted due to how low the windscreen is but that only really effects me when waiting at traffic lights.
The pedals can be adjusted backwards and forwards, the steering wheel can be raised and lowered. Maybe it's just a question of fiddling around with combinations until you can fit in ok?

The Tuscan will easily accommodate a 1.800 plus

I've had my tuscan since feb, I'm 6'5" and have done a few 200+ mile journeys(roof on and off) with no problems at all!!!
The only problem is with the roof off my hair gets messed up
I am 6ft 4" and have no problems either. I dont even have the seat all the way back. My hair gets a little messed up too but it is falling out rapidly The only problem is with the roof off my hair gets messed up
( I am only 30) I think I will blame the tuscan for that

Who's the tallest and who's the shortest? 6'7" is going to be hard to beat.
I let my OH sit in the drivers seat the other day - she's only 5'1"; she couldn't see over the wheel and her feet were about a foot away from the pedals. Oh well, looks like she won't be able to drive it afterall!

Well I'm 6ft 3 and a bit (well that's what they said when I used to be in the military) I have not had any problems with either of my Tuscan's Mk1 and the convertible.
Mind you I do get the p***s taken when on Drives with other TIV drivers as I bounce about a bit above the windscreen on uneven roads and do tend to get the odd small stone imprinted on my forehead !!
Seriously no problems forn me with Tuscan's or with any other TVR for that matter.

I'm a smidge over 6'7 and I fit fine! Seat pad out of course :-)
I can even drive for a while with the seat pad in but its cramped like that. Being in the passenger side always feels smaller, plus I think there is less leg room. I normally take my shoes off to stretch my likes a little more if I'm a passenger.
