Baby Seat Enquiry

my daughter is now 7 months old and my wife would like a bigger car seat. she has done her research and she likes the brittax with isofix. the girl in mothercare did say to check their website and of course it doesn't say if a tuscan is compatible. we are looking for one that if need be can be used via the seatbelts if req'd. it will only be on the odd occasion but i want to be able to have the choice. hope there is someone out there who has come across this very important ownership issue!

The best way is to go to the store and check it out. They will for sure let you try.

We have a Maxi Cosi something or other and it works fine in the Tuscan. It tilts forwards and backwards on a solid base which in turn is the bit that is belted into the car seat. As said above any baby shop will let you try a car seat. In fact, one of the shops that we use insist on it so that they can show you how they work.

No, believe it or not the Mondeo doesn't have Isofix points. Aparently they are on every model except the ST220!

We got a recaro seat 8 months or so to 4 years, grey and black, has isofix base for our lexus and mazda 6, but seat comes off fot tuscan for traditional seat belt fixing - good sturdy and safe seat in my opinion

We have one of these britax maxi cosi seats and I`ve yet to find a car it won`t fit,tuscan and cerbera included.

thanks to all who replied. we went to halfords and tried both recaro and maxi cosi and the cosi was far superior and was no 1 in the 'which' survey so satisfied the wifey.
