Sleeving my standard exhausts

Looks like I'll be back in the Tuscan saddle again later this week after writibg off my P&J just before Le Mans I can't wait Also looks like the only independent witness is backing my version of events which is great

Anyway, my question is this - my previous Tuscan had CCC exhausts which I loved. My new one has been de-catted which is great but I'm wondering how I sleeve the exhausts? Can anyone help?

Also, I have my old standard exhausts in A1 condition for sale if anyone wants to make me an offer? Any ideas what they're worth?

For people like me who don't know, what is sleeving your exhaust and what are its benefits. The only thing that comes to my mind is wrapping them with insulation to keep the heat away from other bits in the engine bay.

It's a way of creating more pops and bangs on overrun. It's something bikers do I think to make their exhausts louder. Being blunt, you shove a piece of pipe in your exhausts!

Sleeving the exhaust is pretty straight forward.

I have a spare length of sleeving pipe if your interested.
