I would have if they hadn't fallen apart (within the first 2000 miles). They're rubbish.

Actually I do have one left that's intact. The other has been down the road more than once and is unusable. The good one is as new. If you can find someone else with a good one for sale you're welcome to buy mine off me (for a very reasonable amount).

Cheers Pits, I'll bear that in mind if I find another single one. I just want to see what my noise levels come down to with the standard cans and decat - have CCC's at the mo and want to do a couple of track days in the near future.

Hi Andy, I have a couple of Tuscan 2 standard carbon cans in my garage, took ages to remove them and have not fallen off the car, not sure if they fit a Tuscan 1, your welcome to have a look and make an offer.

blue flame made the standard cans, you can still buy cans of standard volume from them.

Hi The Pits. I would be interested in buying your standard can if it is in good condition. I only need one. Could you please PM me your email address (as your profile does not accept PMs).

I have a pair of used standard cans. Nothing wrong with them other than needing a good clean if anyone is interested. They've been sitting in the loft for 3 years or so following an upgrade to CCC cans.

This guy has a set of mint standard cans, was asking £75 each but may negotiate. I opted for CCC.

Once you get them on there please us know how you get on with the noise levels, I've been tempted to de-cat for a while but I too am concerned about noise levels for track days.

I still havent been able to source any "silencer" inserts for either the standard or CCC cans (I have both sets so I can swap over for track days)

I seem to think I'm around 102Db at 4000-ish RPM with standard cans and cats in place. I reduced the redline to 6500rpm too as a bit of a "cheat" not that they have ever checked to see when the shift up light comes on.

Still pretty loud, I really wanted to do some own car driver training at Thruxton but thier noise limit is in the 80's IIRC so no chance there.

Guys - I don't wish to jeopardise the deal in any way, but since Pits's first can has disintegrated then it's only a matter of time before the other one does. This happened to both my original cans but about 3,000 miles apart. If you do buy it, take it to a competent welder and make sure you get the perforated baffle inside properly spot welded to the stainless steel end caps at both ends. The original Blue Flame tack welds were virtually non-existent which is why they fall apart. I had both my new cans re-welded and have never had a problem since.
