Running Temps

Wondering if anyone can help..

Current running temps are:-

Water 66° - 72° Fans are briefly cutting in..
Oil 55° - 60°
Oil Pressure approx. 55psi at 3000rpm

stuck in traffic on M3 yesterday..

Water 86° Fans working all the time
Oil 80°
Oil pressue dropped to 6psi at idle; 33psi at 2000rpm

Last night on long motorway run temps were very low as above but also transmission tunnel stayed very low.

Little worried as I have never known a TVR run cool..
Does it sound like the temp sensors?

The display temperature sounds a bit low, the front sensor under No two TB is possibly defective-



Oil pressure also sounds a bit low, what is the idle speed?

Your temps sound a little strange to me.
I think the first fan kicks in at 93°c
and the second at 97°c

maybe you do need a new sensor. Try cleaning the contacts first.

Idle speeds are between 750-800rpm mostly 800rpm..
