HIDs Fitted!!

Took about 20 mins for the first side and 5 mins for the second once I had worked out what I was doing! I also replace the sidelights with LEDs and the main beam with "ultra bright" halogen bulbs, not that I noticed much difference with these, might still get a second set of HIDs for the main beam...

And whilst I was there, it turns out my car is a 100% genuine red rose!

Did you fit the actual HID super duper lights with the power pack thingy, or just change the bulbs? How did you change the front sidelights, I had trouble with mine being covered in a rubber shroud and thought I was going to pull the casing out of the bodywork so left them when I did my buld only upgrade!

Dipped lights are "proper" HIDs with the ballast/powerpack thing. The main beam were changed to "super duper" bulbs which TBH are only a bit brighter than what was in there before.

changing the sidelights is a little bit of a knuckle skinning job if you have big hands, I pulled peeled back the rubber and they are very easy to just pull out the bulb socket. Even more of a fiddle to get them back in but only 5 mins of tinkering on each side. I found rolling back the rubber, putting the socket back in place then rolling the rubber forward again was the easiest way. Of course this is all done blind as unless you can get your head in that little cavity in the wing!
