Dropped the Tuscan off this morning in Lewknor with Jason for an oil change and valve clearance check.

Really impressed with his new premises - totally spotless inside and very secure compound.

Apparently it's an ex-Thames Valley Police forensics unit.

Already six or seven TVRs there (Tuscans, Sagaris, Griffiths) and from across the country so obviously word is spreading.

Shaun Smith's supercharged Sagaris was looking awesome, and nearly complete - hurry up with that airbox Prodrive!!

Jason said he's going to be continuing his engine work and servicing work, and also having a small sales arm too.

He's got two ex-TVR tech guys working with him now, who he's brought from Henley Heritage.

Glad to see things going so well for one of the really genuinely nice guys in the TVR world.

What's Jasons view on when to check the valve clearances? I ask as I don't think many people actually get 12K between checks.

Not sure. I'll ask him next Saturday. Engine is running in (2200 miles so far) so it was due an oil change as currently running in on mineral oil. Valve clearance check is just a precaution I think. Diff is leaking so that needs some attention.

Hi all,

Last time I posted Jasons Mobile number on Piston Heads I was criticised so I was being a little more carefull.
I never asked him if he switches it off during the evening.
But in my opinion he is very good and I am only too happy to help people to get in touch with him.
