The button on the key fob is not working anymore and it has been getting "weaker" and "weaker" over the last month or so, so I assumed it was the batteries in the fob. I tried the spare fob but that didn't work either and I ended up opening both and testing the batteries with a volt meter and like an idiot do not know which way the batteries go into the fob. Does the negative side face down onto the green board or up?

I am now assuming the problem lies in the receiving end of the immobiliser (wherever that is!?). Does that have a battery too or is it likely that it has given up the ghost?

Is there any thing I can reset?

Ordered from these chaps, delivery was next working day. Full instructions on how to "program" the new key fobs to your alarm were included.

You need the red plastic card with the alarm code to order though. I think you will be boned without this.

Thanks, can anyone confirm which way round the batteries go in the fob?
