The analogue speedo on my 2001 Tuscan reads about 25mph too slow all of the time and has a very jerky movement when accelarating / deceletrating. The digital read out works fine and gives the correct speed, which from what I have read rules out the speed sensor and points to a problem with the pod itself.

Anybody know wat could be wrong and if it is an easy fix?

I've done a search but can't find a similar speedo problem.

Thanks,

Jon

hi, I'm having similar probs with my analogue needle,(digital fine).Ive fitted a brand new needle stepper motor and still have an issue. I did note that the stepper motor shouldn't be tightened too much against the needle cog as this caused the needle to move erratically. However my needle creeps up higher and higher even when slowing down and I'm now at a loss of what to try next.
