For anyone looking to have their TVR serviced in the North of England,(or Southern Scotland for that matter),you should look no further than Green Star, TVR Specialists in Blackpool.
My local TVR dealer quoted me over £900 + VAT for a 12000 mile service to my Tuscan S6, so I had to look elsewhere, as I also needed new shocks etc, and just could not afford to have all the required work done locally.
My first post on Gassing Station was regarding servicing, and someone from Glasgow recommended them to me. Dave Bradley, their head technician, is ex-TVR and knows the car inside out. They even have their own car racing in the TVR Euro Challenge. It is really great to deal with someone who is as enthusiastic about the car as I am, and who also know all the factory 'Fixes'.;blabla:
They even offer a pickup service,(for the cost of fuel), and will drop it off for you too. As I needed to save money, I just took the train, and drove it there, left it for a week or so, and drove it back.
Soooooo, Thanks a bunch lads, and if you live within 100 miles or so of Blackpool, you must give them a try. (I live 150 miles away).

Oh, By the way. Green Star charge about £325 for the same 12000 service, and that included VAT, and a Chassis Waxoil. (do not tell them I said that).

Its good to hear that people are happy with the service from there indies in the north west as i know one of the lads there anyway.
