Revs dropping, then stalling
Discussion
Hi Chaps,
I'm going to take her in to have this checked out but just wondered if you lot had any thoughts:-
From cold, car starts up fine as usual.
Starting from warm, revs gradually drop, sometimes stalling, sometimes the ECU(?) "catches" it in time and revs come back up.
After driving for a short while all seems fine again.
Any ideas?

I've had something like it from a dodgy battery before (though not in a Tiv) - strong enough to start the car, but as I pulled up and the revs dropped sometimes the ECU couldn't 'catch it'. A cheap enough fix, if that is the case.
Still, if she is going to the doctors, she should come back better.
Best of luck.

Yep, but often need doing between services.
i can send you the software, and the data cable is availible through clevor trevor, Joolz or TVR carparts.
the problem is trying to get the serial to usb adapters to work... if you have a working 8 year old laptop it helps!
or your local specialist or dealer can do it in 5mins.
ether way, its worth having a cup of tea and chat with your dealer
