Gremlins in my Electrics

Ive got a 2001 4.0 Tuscan

Passenger door wont open from the outside but will open from the button on the inside and the boot won't open... also left hand parking light out on the front is out but may not be connected to these other two faults..

Anyone got any idea's please????

Have you checked the fuses?

Most likely would be water ingress in the encoder in the mirror, this controls the passenger door and the boot- you'll probably find that if you open the passenger door from inside the boot will then open as normal. This will usually dry out if not too affected, or is I think a fairly cheap replacement part from Clever Trever/TVR carparts etc.

Thanks it makes sense as i had just washed it and when it did it before it was raining....
