Just had the a/c fitted last week all went well. But this weekend i turned the ignition on and heard the fans running backed the car out of the garage sure enough one of the fans was running.Went for a drive, took an age to warm up the engine but after 1/2hour and several stops the fan seems to be happy again.Anyway it is doing the same again today.
I am guessing it is a sticky sender unit?
Is there just one on the rad or are there others?
I guess the A/C must be connected to the fans somewere?
Or do they all do that with A/C?
Any help would be gratfully recieved

Not true. The offside fan comes on first (about 92 degrees) and the nearside fan comes on second (about 94). If you have a/c fitted, the fans come on a little earlier.
If you have one fan on constantly well below these temperatures, than either your temperature sensor isn't working (and that will cause bad running as the reading is used by the ECU) or the fan switches are bust.
In other words, get it fixed!
Hope this helps.
Cheers,
Andy.

I disconnected the temp sensor on the block still happened. So i spoke to Walldonway the fans are run by the ecu which get its information from sensor on block. They said it can only be the A/C causing problem.
Walldonways fix is to remove the fuse for No 1 Fan No2 will still work (not advisable in the summmer)any way it goes in monday they promise a quick fix
