This ones got me confused
the car is silver, although its got a picture of a dark coloured car with the same plate?

It's an ex factory car, I remember when it was up at James Agger the first time around, and I think it appeared here privately a month or so ago - I guess the owner sold it back to James.
I'd hazard a guess it was a TVR demo / development car that was then given an S back end, resprayed in Lotus New Aluminium and used in the Looney Tunes film...just like mine.
It's even got the left-hand-can-is-slightly-to-low look like mine as well!
ETA: One of the first factory development cars (or at least the same plate)...

Hello - Yes its the factorys car originally. The photo is from the Lord Mayors show 2000 which is why I dropped the article in - It was a Alphine Green then and used in many of the press shots and leaflets.
It also appeared in Reflex Charcoal on press shots - not sure whether that was before or after as we got very few records from TVR (no change there) -
Also by changing the colour it looks like TVR have loads of press cars and demos
First registered to TVR Engineering as a T reg - you may find a few V regs but this was the first one I believe ...could be wrong.
TVR tried all sorts of things on this as a few other we sold and tried the Tuscan S rear on it prior to that model coming out in 2001.
I got it from D Oxley along with around 13 other cars when the factory was closing. Bought it with half the stuff in the boot and the top end of the engine sounding like it had a sewing machine in it!
I got offered the money back at the time to sell it for parts and just couldn't do it to that car so got it back on the road...eventually
Oxleys famous quote was "James everything to get it through the mot is in the boot mate"
...as the boot would not open and I wanted it I took it?
...as it turned out the contents of the boot was odd bits of fibreglass from other cars
...you win some you lose some
Dom took the engine out and a large chunk of my spending money at the same time
He went on holiday after I paid him 
If anybody can find any pictures for its file or took any originaly email it over as its great to keep the cars history together for the future -

T ACK origional early Tuscan development car used as one of the back up cars for filming of Swordfish and Looney Tunes later returned to development hence electric power steering etc.....
TC lost the roof down bristol ave its first outing....... roof was then screwed down
i fitted two air box locks to the b pillars back in 2001 so we could take roof on and off easily for filming.
